Raised on Whidbey Island, Gary grew up close to the construction industry following his father's career as a developer and builder there. After college Gary worked multiple years in construction before opening his first business, Highline Construction in the North Puget Sound area. In 2000 Gary packed up and left the hectic lifestyle of the West Side, relocating to the beautiful Methow Valley. Gary worked as a Supervisor for another Methow Valley home builder, meeting the local Subcontractors, Building Inspectors and Suppliers before opening his current business in ’05, Summit Builders, LLC.

Gary’s attention to detail, high quality craftsmanship and integrity show in each project Summit Builders takes on, offering competitive pricing for the highest quality work. Gary’s commitment to sustainable building is exemplified in his own home, where all the wood used is reclaimed and a high percentage of other materials are also salvaged.

In his free time Gary enjoys fishing locally and the occasional trips back to Whidbey Island to fish the salt water there. Gary’s willingness to share his fresh catch often benefits his clients!
